Day 6

As what we planned, we woke up early in the morning, Mums and girls went to leisure center to swim, kids had lot of fun, so did mum while daddy at home stayed with little kids (Dhodi&marsya) They promised to get them ready before we reach home. and for today trip we went to Arundel Castle. This castle not really beautiful from outside, but inside was awesome. Made me kept remember how stunning it was (mcm berantu pun ada- scary je bila terbayang2). The entrance fees cost around 12pound per person. Although it was a bit expensive, but I tell you….. It worth.

There are nearly 1,000 years of history at this great castle, situated in magnificent grounds overlooking the River Arun in West Sussex and built at the end of the 11th century by Roger de Montgomery, Earl of Arundel.

The oldest feature is the motte, an artificial mound, over 100 feet high from the dry moat, and constructed in 1068: followed by the gatehouse in 1070. Under his will, King Henry I (1068-1135) settled the Castle and lands in dower on his second wife, Adeliza of Louvain. Three years after his death she married William d'Albini II, who built the stone shell keep on the motte. King Henry II (1133-89), who built much of the oldest part of the stone Castle, in 1155 confirmed William d'Albini II as Earl of Arundel, with the Honour and Castle of Arundel.

There is so many history to tell (datul nenek moyang datuk kpd moyang punya atuk moyang punya story) , you can read here for more. We did not allowed to take a pictures from inside the castle (sedey siut ) only allowed at the "Keep" So took the advantage to snap a pictures as many as I can budak2 dah tak moh possing, masing2 dah letih panjat tangga yg byk giller, dan yg hamim said scaryyyy (curam and sempit plus gelap, main raba je langkah) so mummy je le possing

pastu turn daddy lak...

Bila dah habis ronda, baru sedar budak2 dah kelaparan, semua serba tak kena, k fiza sefamily pun dah give up nak ronda habis, diorang dah pun picnic outside the castle. so budak2 dah takda mood nak jalan, gambar pun muka kena paksa

Bila dah payah sgt anak2 nak bergambar, mak pak lah tunjuk skilled.... possing romantic gitu....

dah jeles pulaksssssssss

Lastly, after finished ronda castle, we all cari tmpt mkn, Halal takeaway for sure susah nak cari, so McDonald le jawabnya lepas sendawa gas & angin kami balik caravan, lepak2 rest and at 7 pm we went to see sunset near the beach....beach yg diorg kata dagerous and tak cantik tu...

Easter break: Day 5 - Royal Pavillion & Brighton Pier, Brigthon.

Day 5 – We went to Brighton. The journey took bout 1-2 hours; The place was beautiful as people said. The people there is so peramah but menakotkan…. Seriously, do not know why…. Maybe, sebab thw way diorg dressing and byk sgt bertindik and bertatu… takut suit, pastu muka nampak kasar2 jerk.. but mmg amat2 peramah gitu… (byk ler komplen org…. ) arrived at brigthon we park our car at shopping mall car park near the pier. First we went to Royal Pavilion also referred as Brighton Pavilion.

History - The Prince Regent, who later became King George IV, first visited Brighton in the year of 1783, due to his physician advising him that the seawater would be beneficial to his gout. In 1786 he rented a farmhouse in the Old Steine area of Brighton. Being remote from the Royal Court in London, the Pavilion was also a discreet location for the Prince to enjoy liaisons with his first wife, Mrs Fitzherbert, his marriage to whom was illegal, due to her Catholic religion.

Henry Holland was soon employed to enlarge the building. The Prince also purchased land surrounding the property, on which was built in 1803 a grand riding school and stables in an Indian style. Between 1815 and 1822 the designer John Nash redesigned the palace, and it is the work of Nash which can be seen today. The palace looks rather striking in the middle of Brighton, having a very Indian appearance on the outside. However, the fanciful interior design, primarily by Frederick Crace and Robert Jones firm, is heavily influenced by both Chinese and Indian fashion (with Moguls and Islamic architectural elements). It is a prime example of the exoticism that was an alternative to more classicizing mainstream taste in the Regency style. During the First World War the Pavilion was used as a hospital for wounded Indian and West Indian servicemen

We did not enter the building because the fee entrance is very expensive and askar2 start crying kelaparan, malas nak bising2 inside the Pavilion. So we just snapped a few pictures outside the pavilion. Mummy, daddy dan hamim je yg sporting utk bergambar DHODI ???? WAT O YENG???? (what are you doing bahasa pelat hamim)

Org tak sporting so bunga le jadi mangsa camera ini….. Mummy mmg suka ambik gambar bunga…. Bunga taik ayam pun jadi…

Then we walk to the Pier and take a rest, mkn2 minum2 and buang ape yg patut... Budak2 santai habis-habisan.. forgot to put sun block lotion, aper lagi makin legam ler semuaaaaaa..

Then we planned to visit Paradise Park, but ade citer funny happened kat situ, so we all changed plan. nak pi cari Fresh Fish utk bakar. Yg Paling kelakar, ader ke "org tu" pi tanya mana nak cari fresh fish kat counter fresh seafood dlm sainsbury, tobat pas nih tak pegi dah sainsbury tuh.. but org sainsbury tu baik hati bagi gak direction and malang nasib kami market tu dah tutup.... . so in conclusion = best gi Brighton, but lagi best if dpt mkn fresh fish

Balik dari brighton, kitaoorg gi lawat leisure centre kat caravan, nak check best ke tak, but masa tu swimming area dah closed, so planned pg2 buta esok abru gi mandi

Day 4 we planned to visit Hasting, sekali cancel sebab jauh sgt, tak larat nak drive, so changed plan gi picnic. Since budak2 nak main sand castle. Pepagi buta kami kuar gi carboot which is dekat giler dgn caravan Mummy suka ler dapat habuan, but carboot dia tak sebest carboot manchester le. Hamim want to buy buckets and spades, mummy nak cari tent, alhamdulillah hajat terlaksana.. murah2 lak tuh . Lepas balik carboot minum2 sikit then daddy2 kata we all check dulu beach camna, so yg lain stay dulu. senang nak angkut barang sikit2 kononnya takut tak leh bbq tepi pantai. Tunggu punya le lama, ingat kan depa mandi dulu, hhihihihi katanya sekankang kera je dari caravan.sejam tunggu.. ikutiler kisah seterusnya....

______________________________________________________________________________

*Apabila mereka tiba dirumah.....

Mummy 1:Apesal lama gile? tak jumpa cari ker?
Daddy 1: ade bad news lerr.......and good news.....
Mummy 1and 2: apedia??
Daddy 1: bad news pantai yg dekat ni very dangerous and takde sand langsung, batu jer..
Daddy 2: mmg bahaya, batu kasar2 pastu jalan sikit terus terejun masuk air, curam dan tak cantik langsung
mummy 1 and 2: o yer ker habis tu???
Daddy 1: good news ade sandy beach but 20 minute drive and guard tu kata last week dia pegi mmg best ler.. kat west wittering.. tgk kat peta nih...but still kena naik keta ler...
mummy1: habis tu budak2 ni nak main sand castle,
mummy2: kita gi je ler, 20 minute tak jauh sgt

*dipendekkan citer terus bersiap packing2 and pegi.. sampai dipantai pukul 12.00tgh.. pantai agak ramai org so kita pegi yg belakang2 sikit by the hope tak ramai org.. setiap org angkut sikit barang mana yg larat, yg lain angkut kemudian.. (byk brg nih)

mummy1:
kita nak buat khemah atau ambik port kat mana nih??
mummy2: kat sini ramai org ler jom kita tgh belah2 sana sikit
mummy1: apesal diorg semua duduk kat batu2 yerk.. jauh pada pantai... kita buat port depan2 sikit ler, nanti senang nak tgk budak main, jauh sgt nanti bahaya...
mummy 2: kita tgh belah2 sana sikit ler..

*Pantai telah dibahagikan petak2 so kami mencari petak yg agak sikit org, jumpa le satu petak yg ader 2 org jer duduk..

mummy 1: oklah kat sini tak ramai org.. (sambil meletakkan barang)
mummy1: apesal diorg duduk belakang sgt kita depan sikit akak...
mummy 2: ee eh pasir dia basah ler patut org tak duduk depan...
mummy 1: o yer ker kalau camtuh belakang sikit ler..hihihihih

*kami pun pacak khemah, budak2 dah tak sabor dah nak mandi, bergaduh2 suh buka baju, sapu losyen pun comot giler punya ler nak cepat, mcm org kena sampuk masing2.. daddy2 pula sibuk settlekan khemah dan angkut brg lagi..first time pasang khemah mmg le lembab giler...

*cuaca agak terik, habis rentung kulit kami.. baru 10 minute duduk tiba2....

budak 1:ma my tummy is hurt skin hurt
budak1:
mummy2: dah ler tak yah mandi
budak 1:

*dipendekkan citer, mencari2 ler kami air untuk membilas, tgh duk kepoh2 cari air, budak2 yg lain pun dtg nangis, tak tahan dah mandi sebab air sejuk sgt, mcm batu... semua pun nagis, semua pun mcm2 hal, lum sempat nak bbq tetiba semua org pun lari... air naiiiiiiiiiiiiiikkkkk bukan tsunami.. but air pasang daaaaaaaaaaaa.. kami pun ape lagi, lipat le khemah semula, jom balik... mmg dah nasib kehmah tu hanya digunakan untuk 10 minute...

mummy1: patut ler org semua tak buat port belah depan and patut diorg pelik tgk kami....

* paling menyeksakan petak yg kami duduk tuh takder jalan keluar.. kena panjat tembok.. yg agak tinggi, ade org putih tepi2 tu tgk jer..kesian ke kelakar ke kami pun tak tahu, gaknya funny kot tgk... dgn brgnya.. budak2 lagi..tak kisah ler janji pasni bukan jumpa pun...

_____________________________________________________________________________

Teladan of the story:

1. Lenkali nak gi pantai awal pagi bukan time air pasang, penat jer belaja lagu = air pasang dalam surut pukul 5, nyonya bangun pagi...bla bla bla
2. nak pasang khemah kena jauh2 dari air, kalau air pasang tak kilang kabut..
3: kalau nak cari port survey habis habisan, kalau takde org tu check dulu mesti ade sebab
4. Lenkali kalau nak mandi laut, mandi kat mesia, jgn nak berangan nak mandi kat negara sejuk, summer konon, summer (baca:sama) jer tapi tak serupa...
5. Jgn kasi budak mandi dulu dah siap bbq baru boleh terejun (jgn jadi camni, terus bbq kat umah jer..
6. Dari mandi pantai baik ler mandi swimming pool, ombak takder, tsunami takder, benda mengigit pun takde, tak yah nak bubuh losyen and kulit pun tak legam
